I offered to write a Halloween pub quiz for our local since I'm busy that night and can't play as I usually do.
Of course, I then realised I had to pitch it to folks who DON'T live the spooky life year-round...

Finally succeeded in making a little ball shape in crochet to try amigurumi! The last time I tried, years ago, they all came out completely wrong (including one tiny wizard hat). I don't know what's changed that I'm finally understanding crochet patterns, but I'm glad

This is how many grass seeds I had to pick off the cat when he came in last night. To make it even better, it sets off my disgust response because it looks like they're growing out of him (I get the same response to sprouting potatoes). Thanks, Son. 🙃

It's been a while, but he has recently reignited his relationship with the shower drain cover. Today he's just gazing at it, enraptured, but he's also been playing with it and pulling it up. I'm glad they've worked out their differences.
