It feels like racism for liberals is seen like an edgy / unfortunate opinion. Especially when it comes to the media and literary world. It might have been Malcolm Harris who said that bigotry is disqualifying on a foundational level, which I agreed with. I can’t take the person seriously after.

They don’t actually give a shit about the American people any more than the GOP, they just hide it better most of the time.
CNN: Was the shutdown worth it?

HAKEEM JEFFRIES: We have waged a battle on behalf of the American people.

CNN: But you didn't get what you want.

JEFFRIES: At the end of the day, the fight lives on.

We need to keep voting every one of these spineless fucks out every chance we get.
Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Whining about crime is super effective for right wing politicians because there's never going to be zero crime, so it's a good way to constantly sell total bullshit to the two dumbest groups of people in the world: republican voters and the entire media

As end-of-empire scenarios go it is so much more dignified to get your capital city sacked by the Visigoths than to have a bunch of illiterate rich people in their 70s doing it through a series of incomprehensible tantrums because their brains were defeated by their phones.

Every flashbang could instead be a meal for a poor kid. Every hotel room for a National Guardsman deployed to fire at our neighbors could house a homeless vet. Every "less-than-lethal" bullet pulled from a journalist's eye could be already needed healthcare for anyone else. All of this is a choice.

Imagine spending your whole life cos-playing and fantasizing about fighting the federal government sending troops in against its own citizens only to root for the government when the moment finally arrives

In my 47 years on this planet I have never been scolded for being a man.

If you could be driven to Rogan, Peterson, or Tate it is a safe bet that you are not being scolded for being a man, you are being scolded for being an asshole.

"It’s disgusting and, frankly, counterproductive to point out that I voted for this. To imply that I had personal free will and agency when I walked into a voting booth and picked Mayor Bomberman is insulting."
Voting for the Mayor Who Promised to Blow Up the City Doesn’t Mean I Approve of the Mayor Blowing Up the City
It’s so easy to label people these days. From the way folks have been talking, you’d think everyone falls into two buckets: those who voted against...

Apologies to the fine people of Philadelphia. You were keeping us safe and we mocked you.
Y'all laughed at us when we took this one out, but we were right then and we're right now.

the failure to drive these freaks from political and really all social life in this country is a failure so profound it should be the only line in the obituary of everyone even remotely responsible, including but not limited to dem leaders. instead they remain unanimous picks to lead their caucuses
The Trump’s campaign promise was to finish the job they started on Jan 6 and this is what it looks like.
The guy overseeing USAID was identified two years ago as a Jan. 6 participant who entered the Capitol through a broken window.
