Unsurprisingly, even Liberal insiders are saying Carney’s inner circle lacks women’s voices.

Who else but a group of rich white men would abandon support for childcare, universal pharmacare, sexual and reproductive care and a feminist foreign policy?

One of the reasons servicemembers, from admirals and generals to the greenest private, should know “don’t follow illegal orders” is that this administration is a goulash of dishonorable character flaws like cowardice and dishonesty. There is no bus under which these pissants will not throw you.
NYT:
Five officials told us that Hegseth had nothing to do with the second strike

Washpost (which broke the story 2 days ago):
“This is ‘protect Pete’ bullshit,”
and
“It’s throwing us, the service members, under the bus.”

TEA can be and often is delegated, but it also can be kept at a very high level...and if pete did indeed keep it with him without being delegated at least for the first strike, hoo boy

One of Canada’s foremost public intellectuals has concluded that Carney is using the Trump effect as political cover to pursue the deregulatory agenda he’s long wanted. www.nationalobserver.com/2025/12/01/a...
Did the climate world misread Carney?
Many in the climate movement saw a fellow traveller in Mark Carney — the man who could preach climate action in the language of finance — but what if they were wrong from the very start?

Both Hegseth and adm Bradley will need to answer some questions.

This is why a reminder to not follow illegal orders is important

My position is clear: I am unequivocally opposed to any new fossil fuel development — including LNG.

We must have the courage to say this to every government, of any stripe: if you’re building new pipelines or fossil infrastructure, this shall not pass.

As a political scientist, I think the effects on unity are some of the biggest problems with the agreement. It legitimates "Alberta" as an aggrieved party, distinct from other provinces, while treating BC and its peoples to be as issues to be managed, rather than partners in the federation.
