It’s a shame because literally every other primary/secondary character in it has a better arc, especially his father.
Here’s the problem with making Spider the emotional core of Avatar 3:
I hate this character. No shade to the actor but this guy sucks. He’s annoying as shit. If I showed up to a party and he was there, I’d leave the party. If he was in my friend group, I’d have to make some really hard decisions.

Relatedly, the courts should absolutely be allowed to treat contempt of court way more seriously, especially traffic court.
It just needs to be way easier to lose your license and your car for reckless driving, because a few months of major societal disruption 5 years ago taught people that driving in such a way that kills others or themselves is nbd

Semi-weird thought of the day but BMW’s reluctance to have a Mini dealer on every major island in Hawaii probably costs the brand 500-1000 sales a year, or like 5-10% of US sales, especially as they’re like one of three brands in the US selling a convertible under $50k at this point.

This was down to the chicken tax killing the competition and all of the big 3 cab forwards being way more popular as vans because of that size and visibility.
Also, have you seen one irl? The Corvair 95s are fifteen feet long and six feet wide. That’s actually 3x larger than a 360cc Hijet.

The superdole was a wild success that the left and populists pretend never happened and no one gave any political credit for and really should have been an early warning sign that deliverism would fail.
So the poverty rate was lower during a period of the pandemic when the economy was in fact not great. And it's because the government showed they actually could provide a generous safety net. The Manchin and the GOP killed it.
