Trump doesn’t have to call on House Republican to vote to release the file.

Trump can order Bondi and Patel to release the files. Tomorrow.

The question is, has he already ordered Bondi and Patel to destroy some of the files after they went through them months ago.
Trump: "House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide."

Wow. From The Economist magazine's Trump approval tracker page, updated today: "The biggest shift away from Trump has been among Americans under 30 years old. His net approval among that group was positive 3 when he returned to the Oval Office. Now it is minus 41."

i wonder what harvard’s general counsel thinks about larry summers teaching classes of teenagers
"Summers has continued to teach at Harvard since, interrupted by brief stints in Washington, and currently holds Harvard’s highest faculty distinction as a University Professor. This semester, he is teaching two large undergraduate courses and one graduate class."
When former Harvard President Lawrence H. Summers was pursuing a romantic relationship with a woman he described as a mentee, he turned to a longtime associate for guidance: Jeffrey E. Epstein.

Fun fact: modern HVAC allows for indoor humidity to get as low or lower than the Sahara desert.

Which causes skin problems, cracking and flaking, etc along with throat problems, dry mouth, etc.

The indoors being more polluted than the outdoors doesn't help

Look, I know this weaponization of male academic interest is the oldest story in the book, but it’s just so, so pernicious. It’s awful to the women directly involved, but it’s also awful to *all* women in the academy, who have to live in its shadow all the time.

Now, in 2025, federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour.

Democrat leadership freaked the fuck out over people demanding $15/hr minimum wage.

A basic big mac meal now costs $10.19, over an hour's worth of minimum wage.

In 1974 the actual price was $0.65.

So in 2025, a minimum wage worker at $7.25/hr 2025 dollars at McDonald's has to work over an hour to afford a big Mac meal.

In 1974, that minimum wage worker at $2/hr 1974 dollars was making twice as much money, and could buy 2 with one hour's wages.

Trump and Pete Hegseth just killed three more people in another bombing, this time in the Pacific. The dead were said to be part of a "designated terrorist organization," which is itself utterly absurd. No evidence provided.
Trump's illegal murders in the Caribbean just got worse. An internal DOJ memo on the bombings says the victims are waging war on the US, but per NYT, it extensively cites the WH's *own claims* to this effect as evidence!

It gets even darker than that. 1/

Judge Immergut made clear *exactly* where things stood with DOJ on 11/7 (a Friday).

There is no reason why — if DOJ was going to seek a stay, which, obviously they were — a notice of appeal couldn't have been filed on 11/8 and the stay request at least filed by 11/10 (the next Monday).

When the wealthy and well-connected control our political system, regular people don't have a voice.

The result? The demagoguery and corruption we're seeing now.
