My sister called the school yesterday to confirm she'd like him enrolled in that programme and was told it might not be available next year because the new curriculum doesn't include it. 😱😱

This is how any country violated by neo liberalism and the #AtlasNetwork have been corrupted.

A reminder that the US is our future if we don't make this a #onetermgovernment.

Mobilising the non voters in your life is one of the best things you can do to fight this corruption.

This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office
2) Elected officials rewrite rules in the donors' favor
3) Donors make huge profit
4) Repeat

We must get big money out of politics.

It is the root of our dysfunction.

Or

Who: Doocey the Ghoul
Murdered: Lifeline

Wage rises have been fucked, utterly absolutely fucked

And we still have basic shit going up 5-10% a year

You can bet your life savings (lol) these companies somehow make record profits

Somehow, surprise, it's not wage growth pushing inflation it's profits

Luxo is quite right. We do need a mature conversation about state asset sales.

One where he is made to understand that New Zealanders have bad memories of the consequences of the last round of them, particularly the break up of #ElectricityCorporationNewZealand. #nzpol

Luxon thinks we need a "mature conversation" about selling state assets... But I don't think he really means that, because a mature conversation would look at the history of failure and the shortsighted focus on profit ahead of public interest.

He wants a conversation where we agree with him.

The sad thing is that that is already happening in Wellington. Homeless people in CBD were moved out to Newtown. Problems arose and some were moved on to Kilbirnie.

Homelessness can only be solved by providing homes - a solution thus inept govt seems oblivious to.

Remember: There is nothing natural or inevitable about extreme inequality; it’s the result of an economic system that values wealth and power over human dignity and justice.

It doesn't have to be this way.
