Observing Evangelical Christians and their lack of empathy towards their fellow humans is sincerely one of the biggest reasons I could never be part of a church or organized religion again.

Mocking the fear and concerns of marginalized communities is disgusting.

There is NO "aborted fetal debris" in vaccines.

They're resurrecting one of the most innacurate and outdated lies to trigger people not only into not trusting vaccines, but to make them angry at those who produce them.

The cells used to produce a select number of vaccines are grown in a lab.

Just to be clear, this is a violation of the fundamental ethical principle in clinical trial design called "equipoise."

Equipoise means that no-one is exposed to excess risk just to test the therapy. That's specifically *why* vaccine trials don't use placebo arms.

Ethical violation as POLICY.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr will require all new vaccines to undergo placebo testing, WaPo reports
U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr intends to shift the way vaccines are tested, The Washington Post reported on Wednesday, citing a spokesperson from the HHS.

This is a widely inaccurate & dangerous mischaracterization. The vaccine was developed in fetal cells obtained from two elective abortions in the early 1960s. There is not abortion debris floating around in the vaccine. And the Vatican has okayed its use. RFK Jr. is again spreading disinformation.

RFK Jr. says fluoride makes you “stupider.” Interesting take from a man actively proving it’s not the water…it’s the policy. This ain’t health care, it’s headline-chasing with a government badge.

Emphasizing again that Trump's claim that it would take "200 years" to give everyone a hearing in immigration court is made up.

The immigration court's annual budget is just $840 million and in just the last six months judges have issued 200,000 removal orders and granted relief to 21,000 people.

Gélineau advanced the term "narcolepsy" in 1880 while de la Tourette described his eponymous syndrome in 1885. "Autism" was coined by Bleuler in 1911, with full diagnoses soon after.

But what do I know? I'm not the Cabinet secretary in charge of the goddamn Department of Health and Human Services.
RFK JR: ADD, ADHD, Tourette syndrome, Narcolepsy, Autism.. All of these are injuries that I never heard of when I was a kid.

They had lawyers, trials, most were given pretrial release, allowed to testify in their own defense, got discovery, could call witnesses, could cross-examine witnesses, could present mitigation at sentencing, and had a right to appeal.

Not to state the obvious, but none of them were sent to a terrorist prison in El Salvador. They all had lawyers, indictment by grand jury, a trial or a guilty plea where a judge ensured it was knowing & voluntary & access to an appeals process. In other words, all the hallmarks of due process.

Now they’re building a $5 billion expansion in Rochester where the lifesaving health care innovations of the future are going to happen.
