Part of the problem is that most pop music is extremely simple. It’s a beat and four chords and someone doing vocal gymnastics and hopefully a killer drop.
Good classical music is complex and lovely and they’re both good but this is one place where we shouldn’t cross the streams.

You need to max out the size of your capital building when you found a country. Go big as hell. It’s impressive to have a big building but it’s also gauche and overcompensating to make it bigger after the fact. Gotta lock in a large size from day one.
