A quarter million Americans die every month on average. About 11% of Americans rely on SNAP. That works out to about 27,500 Americans that die each month are SNAP recipients (the share is actually probably higher). That the USDA is only ~6 months behind in removing from rolls is actually impressive

I don’t know how Cornell is governed as it’s both private and public, but it’s a failure that Hochul and NY state democrats didn’t reject the idea of capitulating to the Trump Administration. Every blue state governor and state legislature needs to say that their state schools will not cooperate.
