Props to the train driver of my Southeastern train for realising that I had no idea the train had actually arrived and was shorter than I thought it was, so gave me a shout to scoot down the platform so I could actually get on

I would get yourself another political director pal
On Tuesday, Starmer's political director briefed Labour MPs on how government plans to fight Reform. She said:

- Reform voters are "our people" but "pissed off" with the state of the country
- At Runcorn, Farage mobilised habitual non-voters, while Labour voters stayed at home
- Comms must improve
Top Starmer Aide: Reform Voters Are 'Labour People' – They're Just 'Pissed Off'
Reform UK voters are “our people” but are “pissed off” with Keir Starmer’s government, Labour’s political director has said.

Blue Labour MP and character from the Beano, apparently
Hopefully Starmer has woken up to the danger of following vogueish ideas. Here's what Jonathan Brash, the Blue Labour MP, had to say about Trump in February:

I like Mackie generally in stuff but he’s not a lead - Altered Carbon S2 also suffered because he was such a departure in performance from Kinnaman in S1
I've seen Anthony Mackie play Captain America, Martin Luther King and 2Pac and he wasn't convincing as any of them. He gets acted off the screen in "Pain and Gain" by both Mark Wahlberg and The Rock.

“In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Those affected receive a small apartment & counselling with no preconditions. 4 out of 5 people affected make their way back into a stable life. And all this is CHEAPER than accepting homelessness.”
Finland ends homelessness and provides shelter for all in need - scoop.me
In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Why? The country applies the "Housing First" concept agains homelessness.
