something i really wish i had for writing was a parallel track where i could write notes to myself in a way that was not shown to readers, and have that machine-actionable so i could pick it up on the other side (e.g. things to research)

or even a sort of an inline sotto voce grey text…

"During In Living Color’s first season, a marketing impresario approached Fox with an idea that would stick it to CBS, the NFL rights holder and Super Bowl carrier that Murdoch had in his sights: a special episode of In Living Color that would air opposite the Super Bowl intermission."
time to remind everybody that the Super Bowl halftime show only exists in this grandiose fashion because a tv show called "In Living Color" stole the ratings from the NFL; the execs notoriously said, "get me Michael Jackson's agent" and thus began all the pomp

another data point for information provenance is good, actually
California state health authorities are warning people to stop foraging wild mushrooms as the death toll from a poisoning outbreak increased to four and as more than three dozen people have been sickened since November.
4 Dead in Mushroom Poisoning Outbreak in California
State health officials discouraged foraging this year, saying that toxic mushrooms can easily be confused with safe ones to eat.

i have been up since ~4am (randomly awoke from dream) and after an hour of lying there wide awake i started to write a script for the first of the retail lectures for this: methodandstructure.com/semantic-rest

gonna *try* to get it written and recorded today and shipped tomorrow but may crash, lol

i think information architecture can go beyond becoming sovereign: IA should become the dominant discipline, subjugating UX, UI, CX, and even PM under the awesome and primordial might of Pure Information lol
if information architecture is your thing and you have 40 minutes, you can watch my talk where i argue that information architects should step out from underneath the UX umbrella and reestablish IA as a sovereign concept

IA can start by making developers' lives easier
