The president is a political cartoon of corruption come to life, a gaudy grifter who is selling off pardons and lining his pockets, building a golden ballroom and protecting his fellow sex predator elites, all the while regular Americans are suffering and struggling to make ends meet.

Seeing how much of the right-wing on Twitter is just bot farms, kinda lays bare how much hate and hatred is a project that needs to be constantly maintained, a fire that needs to be fed all the time lest it go out for a moment, so much time, effort, and resources to keep people angry and hateful.

If you're a devout follower of a religion, you will be conforming thoughts to fit a set of beliefs. It doesn't have to be anti-intellectualism, you can intentionally choose to be introspective and learn all you can and gather information and study, while also leaving room to explore the unknown.

After years in these circles, I believe the "leading of the Holy Spirit" is mostly the pastor's words and ideology repeated over and over again and reinforced in community groups and in the books they read. They learn to censor their own thoughts and emotions and call it "Holy Spirit."

Anti-intellectualism is a common them with local NAR pastors. They despise universities so they create their own sketchy "ministry schools." They tell congregants to stop analyzing and stop being introspective but "listen and obey" the Holy Spirit.

I know it’s too much to expect them to know their history, but if the American Revolution had a motto, it definitely would not have been “immigrants go home.”

It would have been “get your fucking soldiers out of our cities.”

The attack on DEI -- being "anti-DEI" -- means advocating for their opposites, which are all obvious, evident Bad Things.

The opposite of "diversity" is forced, enforced conformity in all things. All. Things.
