Phang: It is a fundamental premise of the law that there is no requirement that a criminal defendant be forced to testify to explain away the government’s evidence. Hallagan went to law school and knows better, but she’s so stupid that she made that misstatement of the law to the grand jury.

Still, each bit reveals something that explains how we got to a fascist president trying to make anti-fascism a bad thing and illegal.
OMG

Ryan Lizza is digging in the crates to defend himself after the release of Olivia Nuzzi's book and Vanity Fair excerpts, they both have similarly pompous writing styles, Keith Olbermann is catching strays and the whole thing reads like a "Family Guy" cutaway gag

Many woodworkers would like to do the same.
The best part about being a science teacher is being able to randomly order the weirdest combination of things that otherwise would be suspicious. I just ordered hypodermic needles and pure lab grade acetone. And no one is going to ask me any questions about it. 😂

I don't know what I can do but repost. Yet this is the ligical conclusion to this admin's policies. My folks came post WWII from Europe. Trump wants to undo all of our citizenship. You can let him win if you want to.
Looking to finish what they started.
79-year-old Paul Bojerski was born to Polish parents in a WWII German refugee camp. His family legally emigrated to the U.S. when he was 5.

He’s been taken by ICE in Florida.

Especially when there are incentives . . .
At some point, incompetence and deliberate indifference to the law reaches a point where it is indistinguishable from deliberate misconduct. This is why you don’t hand a complex matter to someone who has never presented to a grand jury before.
A federal judge ORDERS the disclosure of James Comey's grand jury minutes to the defense, citing a "disturbing pattern pattern of profound investigative missteps" and casting doubt on Lindsey Halligan's declaration about the gap in the record.

This is actually pretty sad. Because most likely don't. Surely no more than the men and likely less often than that.

This isn't wrong, but when they do it a number of times, one worries, especially when they still don't learn how to handle that.
People fall in love while on the job.
There are ethical and unethical ways of handling that.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

NEW: Lindsey Halligan apparently told the grand jury in the Comey case that they should indict on promised future evidence, and that Comey is guilty until proven innocent. Check out my chat with @klasfeldreports.com about this incredible ruling today: www.muellershewrote.com/p/halligan-i...

oh, hey, look, it’s what literally everyone who knew anything about hiring staff said would happen
Insiders are saying the Department of Homeland Security's ICE hiring is in "chaos" and Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller is reportedly angry over "lagging" deportation numbers.

Probably real/unreal is the wrong lens. I get that you stuck with something you believed. But people change in all sorts of crazy ways. And people tell stories afterwards to make sense of themselves. But the future is the best test of reality.
Again before we go praising MTG… and if shes truly changed great, but can somebody please ask her about January 6? Have her address that to see if this is real

Look, I know we're all sick of hearing "if this had happened with any other president ..." but it's absolutely true and absolutely can't be forgotten.

For some reason, this nation gives this idiotic spoiled brat a free pass from things that would destroy the administration of any other person.
When asked if there was anything "incriminating" in Epstein's emails, Trump pointed a finger in a female reporter's face and snapped. 'Quiet. Quiet, Piggy.'
