Textbook. If you are surprised, it is because this shit usually, at least not in the last 150 years, does not happen in the US. And the past is mild in comparison

ICE just shot someone else. Minneapolis is still under siege. No one is helping them!

ICE won’t leave. They are just terrorizing.

No state guard? What are people supposed to do?

Listen to this. Not a penny more for this. Abolish and prosecute anyone who had anything to do with it.
"A modern-day concentration camp ... People have been killed by the staff here." Irish citizen Seamus Culleton has been in ICE detention since September, despite having a valid work permit and his own business in the US.

I know that DHS includes the folks who do decent work, but right now the main threat to US residents comes from within our borders, most prominently from ICE and Border Patrol.

And if the Rs can't deal with it (as well as ID, no masks and taking back ICE's money for prison camps) we can live without DHS funding until they can.
Well they keep 'accidentally' detaining Americans so yeah they're going to need a fucking warrant
Ron Johnson: "Why would they to remove their masks? Because they want these officers exposed, they want them afraid, they don't want to carry out their enforcement actions. They want judicial warrants, which would completely neuter ICE's ability to apprehend"

Turns out one of the benefits of mass deportation is low growth and anemic job creation.
Peter Navarro: "The jobs report comes out tomorrow. We have to revise our expectations down significantly for what a monthly job number should look like ... Wall Street has to adjust for the fact that we're deporting millions of illegals out of the job market."

So it's going to be bad.

I hear from people who are surprised I'm still talking about ICE, they thought they'd withdrawn from MN.

No, they have not. In some respects they've escalated.

Some asked why MN is a target. Are there are there a lot more illegals or criminals here?

No, it's not about that. It's about a grudge.

Breaking MS NOW:

Some of the Epstein docs the DOJ invited members of Congress to view are STILL redacted, despite promises otherwise.

Raskin says DOJ's reading room has just four computers. It would take seven years to get through the files in the current conditions established by the DOJ.
Lawmakers say some Epstein files remain redacted despite DOJ's pledge
Reps. Jamie Raskin and Jared Moskowitz told reporters key documents retained redactions despite the DOJ's pledge that members of Congress could view the full files.

This is like something out of a horror movie, my god
We are in a small community outside Minneapolis and a child arrived to an empty house on Friday. No parents, ice kidnapped them and just leave children to wander alone after school

Let me repeat, Melania the person was paid more in rights fees ($28 Million) than her documentary made in the first two weeks (9.4 Million) in THOUSANDS of theaters nationwide

This was a payoff, and stop listening to the whitewashing of the corruption in play here

Given that Bezos is ultimately responsible this was likely just convenient.
Maybe Will Lewis lost his job over that “Super Bowl thing.”

Or maybe this was already baked in, and all along he was meant to be the fall guy for the massive layoffs at the Post last week

It is cool you could turn it into what you have. I started in around 1977 w a Pentax K-1000. Did it for fun especially pic of friends and also as a legal photographer for a while when I worked helping defend accused criminals. But I have too many hobbies to be good at it. Still that photo called out

If I still subscribed (I quit with the earlier cave to Trump) I would quit now. And if everyone did it would likely allow the paper to get some sort of reincarnation. I get why the remaining employees don't quit, though.

The Washington Post laid off hundreds of its staff this week, despite being owned by one of the richest men on the planet.

Billionaire control of the media is a threat to the free press.

More than 40 years ago I took a photo of an old car in a field in Oregon that I liked. The car was somewhat older than this truck but not as much older as I am now than when I took that photo. It surprises me these are still around to take. Nice shot BTW, and likely much better than I did long ago.

Not a guy I'd take investment advice from.
Bill Ackman's fund, Pershing Square, manages 18 billion dollars for wealthy clients, billions of it for the Harvard Endowment

Anyways here he is uncritically eating up conspiracy slop from Naomi Wolf about stolen NYC elections

Next week it will be the "Trump Washington Post" and by the end of the Spring they will have taken the city's name off of it.
