Elvis Costello and the Imposters with Charlie Sexton put on a great show in KCMO this evening. EC is actually a fine guitar player which you don't think about with how well he writes songs.

Jeff Tweedy Channels early 70s John Lennon at Cains in Tulsa earlier this evening. Can't say quite why but it might be the combination of melody & looseness while actually being rhythmically tight. Wilco is doing it again tomorrow night at the same spot.
