This year, I’d like to say a special thank you to our incredible emergency services who are working hard to keep Londoners safe today and during the festive period.

You are London at its very best.

Worth noting, I guess, that inside of a year we've gone from administration officials taking selfies of themselves at CECOT and bragging about how it's hell on earth to now getting their horrible little media worms to kill stories about it

This is Johnson talking about rejoining Erasmus. A programme he promised not to leave and then did so anyway. Slamming the door on opportunities for our young people. Now he talks of gunning down those who attempt to fix his ruinous mess. The man is an irredeemable wanker.

Great news that won’t be reported by American mainstream press. Russia’s Black Sea fleet has nowhere to hide.

I cannot express how dangerous DOJ's actions are to free and fair elections in 2026 and 2028. Access to and the misuse of this data is almost certain to be the central fight for the 2026 midterms. Yet, too few are paying attention and treating this as seriously as they should.

"Literally" .......... pure genius!
Q: Can you explain what's going on with the bandages on Trump's hand?

LEAVITT: We've given you an explanation. The president is literally constantly shaking hands.

Let Rep. Thompson give a lesson in Reporting 101 to about half the DC press corps.
GLASHEEN: Antifa is our primary concern right now. That's the most immediate violent threat we're facing

BENNIE THOMPSON: Where is antifa headquartered?

GLASHEEN: ... ... ... we are building out the infrastructure right now

THOMPSON: What does that mean?

More blatant lies ignored .......
Trump on Zelenskyy: "He has to realistic. And I do wonder about how long is it gonna be until they have an election? 82% of Ukrainian people are demanding a settlement be made."
December 10, 2025 at 9:05 PM
Have it missed it or does no journalist ever respond to Trump by saying that he is proven to lie over and over again? A simple fact that is routinely ignored just so the journalists can keep their space in the room soaking up his lies, his racism, his corruption ....
Q: What changes do you want to see at CNN under new ownership?

TRUMP: I'm not involved in that. I will be probably involved in the decision. It's imperative that CNN be sold.

The conflation of "foreign criminals" and "illegal migrants" is disgusting.

Vile when some people don't have a safe route to flee from the utter detestation & brutality of war.

It's all grim enough without the Labour Government pushing further misinformation.

It's notable that US commentators often talk about the cost to US taxpayers of supporting Europe/NATO without mentioning the massive US profits from US arms sales to Europe.
Americans will demand that Europe does more to rearm and then complain when Europeans ignore an America they no longer need.
It ain't just Trump, folks. NYT says it's time to pony up, U.S. allies: "A more secure world will almost certainly require more military commitment from allies like Canada, Japan, and Europe, which have long relied on American taxpayers to bankroll their protection." www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

Trump lives in a world of 'everybody' or 'nobody' .. the binary logic of a late-developing 6-year old
POLITICO: The Pope has called your immigration actions "inhumane." Do you take that seriously?

TRUMP: I haven't seen that. I mean, maybe he has. I mean, he also didn't like the wall.

FIFA head Infantino cites 'cease-fire in Gaza' ......... NB there is no cease-fire in Gaza you corrupt disgrace of a man !!!
This is how my local paper in the swing state of Nevada covered it: Huge picture, AP story with nary a hint that this was weird or corrupt.

As low as Trump’s approval ratings are, they’d be much lower if he didn’t have the help of large swaths of the media

Perhaps FIFA can publish the short-list of candidates that they considered for this award ... the composition of the panel involved in the assessment and the criteria they used in the decision-making process?? How about England's FIFA representative putting this out in the public domain??
It’s weird that news organizations like the BBC are covering this as if it’s a real thing with a real process behind it—and not clearly some nakedly invented “participation trophy” by a corrupt organization to curry favor with a corrupt and easily manipulated man-child. www.bbc.com/sport/footba...

What are the Europeans doing to sanction war criminal Russia's 'great friend' India?
Putin and Modi beam at the Russia-India business forum in Delhi. Putin calls for expanding ties beyond energy and defense “in all areas.” Modi briefly spoke about the Russian invasion and said India stands “on the side of peace”

Yet the red carpet for a war criminal says more than any speech could

Hegseth describes the smoke surrounding an exploded boat as the 'fog of war'. The man is an incompetent, narcissistic charlatan.
1. America is not at war in the Caribbean. 2. The “fog of war”, as Robert McNamara came to realize after the Vietnam war, is precisely the reason why you don’t let loose unrestricted violence in zones where you don’t know whether or not people are combatants. www.ft.com/content/5566...
