If DHS doesn't have the authority to "forcibly extract an alien from the domestic custody of a foreign sovereign nation," maybe it shouldn't have the authority to traffic said alien to said foreign sovereign nation.

I fucking hate to give this fucker any credit, but “I have a trade deficit with my grocery store” is as simple and straightforward as explaining why tariffs are bad gets. Dems need to run with this messaging.

I had to take my cat to urgent care yesterday. Logically, I knew it probably wasn't bird flu, because he's very low risk (indoors only, no raw food, and I've been careful about tracking things in on my shoes and outerwear), but I was still terrified he'd caught it somehow.

“Is anyone else in the household sick?” She asks.
“No, I live alone.” I reply. “It’s just me and my cat, and he’s fine.”
She was not entertained.
