Let's make the world more like this:

If you love, love everyone.

If you stand against hate, stand against all hate.

If you reject violence, reject all violence.

Open your heart and fill it with kindness and empathy for other people's suffering year-round.

I stand against antisemitism. Do you?

Mark Kelly notably declines to endorse Chuck Schumer as the leader of Senate Dems going forward

We can now refer to the two house leaders as Johnson & Johnson.
Perhaps Jeffries thinks praising a politician that probably should be in jail is just emulating what worked for Republicans.

Thank you for so stating. This is why I contend that Jeffries is complicit. This is a statement meant to demoralize us, which is what we accuse the other side of doing.
Praising Eric Adams is dumb, unnecessary and only serves to condone corruption and lawlessness.

These two are without question the two most feckless and disingenuous losers who have led a Democratic caucus in my lifetime. We deserve better. I hate to be disrespectful but I am drowning in disillusionment.
So far today, Chuck Schumer has said his strategy for preventing Trump sending troops into blue cities is to win over Republican senators (!) while Hakeem Jeffries praised Eric Adams's courage and authenticity (!!) while refusing to endorse Mamdani. Again.

These two gotta go.

New rule. You can’t be leader of the Democratic party in the house if you can’t back the Democratic nominee for mayor. Jeffries is now completely complicit. He must resign from leadership.
NEW: Jeffries praises Eric Adams in a statement, saying he has "served courageously and authentically for decades" and that "meaningful progress has been made" during his mayoralty.

Says he will "publicly weigh in" on the mayoral race "well before the start of early voting.”

If you listen to Jeffries you would think he was the best thing ever for NYC.
Eric Adams was a terrible mayor and he made me believe in the mayor curse.

Neither Jeffries or Schumer are leaders in any real sense. They have repeatedly shown us that they capitulate to special interest lobbies every single time. They should both resign from leadership positions. Today would be a perfect day to do that.
Chuck and Hakeem aren’t even in the same building with us. No chance of them reading the room we’re in.

Schumer must go. I used to hold him in very high regard. I have lost all respect. At this point he is complicit. Jeffries is no better. It’s time for real leadership.
SCHUMER: “I hope and pray Trump will sit down with us.”

BASH: “And if he doesn’t Dems will vote no?”

@schumer.senate.gov : *suddenly seems to lose his hearing*

He “hopes and prays”, y’all. 🤔
Hard to watch.

Translation: we are going to engage in the same strategy as we always have because that is all we know how to do.
Schumer on government funding: "Our position remains this: We want to keep the government open by engaging in bipartisan negotiation where we can address some of the grave harms Donald Trump has caused to our health care system and help Americans with the cost of living."

This makes me question whether or not I can continue being a Democrat. The Democratic Party leadership is blind, deaf and really, really stupid.

That is such a lovely idea. It makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately since it’s such a good idea Dem leaders certainly won’t be interested.

The word “bawdy” should never ever ever be used in the context of a case involving pedophilia. Pedophilia is not bawdy. It’s a disgusting violation.

I was listening to you on the Unjustified podcast just last evening and I thought you were channeling my own thoughts albeit a lot more clearly. You speak for millions of us. Carville has lost touch with Dems and maybe even reality itself. Keep doing you!
James Carville just sent me an email with the subject line "Earth to Allison Gill."

What the fuck? Fuck you, dude.

May be unpopular but sometimes the truth is hard to bear.
Potentially unpopular opinion: If you question how barbaric, antiquated groups like the Taliban take root - the GOP in the US is a disturbing case study.
