Bad news feels inescapable. There’s a lot of it, it goes viral, and things are getting worse.

But resistance is also everywhere, and it doesn’t get the same attention.

We need to share mass resistance, to inspire hope and so that more and more people join in.

Well, it’s both considering that Schumer himself was goading Trump for not being bolder against Iran not that long ago, and it was under a Democratic president that the genocide of Palestinians and the repression of any dissent started, and that same party has increased funding for ICE each time.
Why do I feel like one political party is helping fascism take hold and the other is deciding whether to have chicken salad or an Italian sub for lunch?

So, with Bill 33, the Ontario government is now giving itself the power to decide what "merit" is and which students should and should not be admitted to each college and university.

(it's and anti-EDI measure, if that's not abundantly clear. Fully Trumpian)

Leftists have been saying that Liberals turn into Fascists when capital is threatened for a long time, but just how quickly Starmer, Biden, Macron, Scholz, Trudeau et al. jumped at the chance to sponsor genocide and ramp up authoritarianism at home was truly remarkable

60% of Americans have a chronic condition. Among people over 65, it's 95%.

Saying most of our health care spending goes to chronic conditions is just another way of saying it goes to health care.
Dr Oz says being healthy is a patriotic duty

Worse, he says they spend 70% of Medicare & Medicaid funds on chronic illness & aren’t “getting their money’s worth”

This is the quiet part said out loud.

They don’t want to cure chronic illness, they want us to take the blame. They don’t want to pay.

In Gaza, World Central Kitchen @wck.org is among the last organizations still able to cook meals. The IDF has shut all crossings to shipments, including humanitarian relief. We are now nearing the end of our supplies—and the limits of what’s possible.
