Swing and a drive and git up ball were the greatest loss of Buck switching to colour. I will remember his voice after I’ve forgotten my own name.
Buck was the best to ever do it not just because he was a great broadcaster but because he was an old guy who didn’t get left behind by the game. He always praised the Jays for having fun and playing with joy and he wasn’t above changing his mind. He was the model, not Smoltz.
Buck saying he initially opposed extended netting but came around on it because it’s saved so many people who are “eating popcorn or having a cold beer” is why I love him. Old school guy whose mind can be changed, only guy on earth not citing ~kids on their phones~ there

Also I have no opinion on whether or not JKR is really in the Epstein files but surely only Americans think emails signed “J x” are a smoking gun specific to her. Have you never communicated with a British person in writing before? They all sign everything like that.

I think it’s awesome that inside one calendar year we’ve ONCE AGAIN gotten “Leafs fans are evil and cruel for booing them in another early elimination” AND “it’s Leafs fans’ fault the team is terrible because they are too supportive regardless of the quality of the on-ice product.”
