I'm sad to share that Jellybean Johnson, founding member and drummer of The Time, has passed away. He was an innovator of the Minneapolis Sound, appeared in 'Purple Rain,' and produced Janet Jackson's "Black Cat." He died suddenly Friday night at 69.

Turns out this was all much ado about nothing and Google isn’t using your Gmail to train AI and if wanna turn all that stuff back on you can get your spam filters back
Looks like the article has been updated to suggest maybe they misread the policy.
I see people complaining that this also disabled their spam filters, though I still see new messages showing up in spam so it's still working fine for me after disabling things.

Turns out this was all much ado about nothing and Google isn’t using your Gmail to train AI and if wanna turn all that stuff back on you can get your spam filters back

One of the most obvious differences I see having embedded with health teams in South Africa and Uganda is that the workers doing outreach, field testing & med care in both countries are all Black, but it SA all the middle & upper managers are white while in Uganda all the managers are still Black
