The military has a duty to refuse unlawful orders, but Congress has a duty to remove from office a president and secretary who would issue such orders. The most frustrating thing about this “peace deal” is that Russia seems very close to an economic meltdown of some sort. At least 11 trillion rubles in bad debt sit in Russia’s banking system—the actual number is likely much higher.
