The number of candidates I know, on both sides of the aisle, who have left the place they ran for office when they lost is too damn high.
To a man (they're all dudes) they were running for pride and ego, not for love of their community. And for that, they deserved to lose.

The Daggerfall villain being called the "King of Worms" is clearly supposed to be creepy and make me think of maggots and necromancy and such, but I cannot think about "worms" in any kind of negative or sinister light at all. It's just not a scary word to begin with. Worms are funny.

Confession: As much as I love hexapod invertebrates, I’m extremely picky with vertebrate hexapods. So griffins, dragons, designs with four arms and two legs etc. are extremely hit or miss for me. My preferred dragons are wyverns because of this.
