Lost in the discussion of how Charlie Kirk "did politics the right way" are the lives of the two victims assassinated at Florida State University by a member of Kirk's organization, Turning Point USA, in April 2025.
Weird how when a Trump supporter, white supremacist, and reportedly, a former member of Turning Point USA shot up Florida State University (FSU) several months ago and killed two people - there wasn't the same national conversation about "political violence." www.mediaite.com/news/mass-sh...

This is simply untenable. There is no way forward with media and political classes captured by the right. Every time someone commits a crime you have to pray it's not an undesirable or it's purge time, then when it turns out to be themselves again they just shrug and wait for the next one.

Remember the Gaza Humanitarian Fund? The shady American nonprofit run by a Christian Nationalist that was given full control of food aid distribution sites in Gaza?

Its parent organization GH solutions hired members of an American white supremacist biker gang to run security for the all the sites.

I mean the worry isn’t that this is the tipping point for general violence, the worry is that this is the justification for state violence given the target. Minnesota was never going to be anything because it was one of their guys. It’s all asymmetrical.

"All Americans have equal rights" is a concept so foreign to today's Republican Party that they think a Democrat saying as much is a major gaffe.
The latest attack ad from Winsome Earle-Sears has this quote from Abigail Spanberger

Wouldn’t be surprised if majority of Virginians support that statement

There is a risk Earle-Sears enters Ken Cuccinelli territory if goes overboard on social issues

I often talk about the fact that MAGA does not access the same news as the left wing. I present to you Exhibit A.

Dr. Daskalakis’ resignation letter excoriated RFK Jr. and shared that RFK Jr. was lying to the public, manipulating data, and ordering unethical actions.

This what Fox News served.

Normal fraud only results in financial loss for investors. Tesla's driving automation is horrifyingly novel in that the spectacle required to build confidence in a fantasy that will never be delivered also kills people. I feel like one major difference between conservatives and progressives is that a conservative feels financially insecure if they don't have "Hunt humans for sport" money, while progressives feel like they made it if they can book a dentist appointment without wondering how they'll pay for it.
Someone literally sent me a private message saying that having multiple yachts isn't a sign of wealth and lots of poor people live on a yacht. Another complained that their million dollar yacht was their only asset so they're really poor.
Seriously a majority of people in the US are passing around the same $20 as mutual aid and the top decile gets to complain about being mildly inconvenienced by minor taxes on their fifth yachts, I think this might not be the best way to run things
