Scott Adams post: If you see the Epstein story as a crime story, which of course it is, you probably favor maximum disclosure of everyone and everything involved, including innocent people, like a typical court case. If you see the Epstein story as something bigger, involving more than one nation, you might see it as a Commander in Chief issue, meaning the public is not meant to have the full story, similar to most national defense issues. We elect a president to decide -- in part -- what the public can safely see. Scott Adams: Would you favor full disclosure if you knew it would derail a peace negotiation? Would you favor full disclosure if you knew it would end Republican control of Congress and plunge the country back into a Democrat open-border hellscape? If you can't say what you would give up to get the full Epstein disclosure you crave, you're not a serious person.

MEMORANDUM OPINION On the evening of Saturday, March 15, 2025, this Court issued a written Temporary Restraining Order barring the Government from transferring certain individuals into foreign custody pursuant to the Alien Enemies Act. At the time the Order issued, those individuals were on planes being flown overseas, having been spirited out of the United States by the Government before they could vindicate their due-process rights by contesting their removability in a federal court, as the law requires. Trump v. J.G.G., 2025 WL 1024097, at *2 (U.S. Apr. 7, 2025) (per curiam). Rather than comply with the Court’s Order, the Government continued the hurried removal operation. Early on Sunday morning — hours after the Order issued — it transferred two planeloads of passengers protected by the TRO into a Salvadoran mega-prison. As this Opinion will detail, the Court ultimately determines that the Government’s actions on that day demonstrate a willful disregard for its Order, sufficient for the Court to conclude that probable cause exists to find the Government in criminal contempt. Right. People will shrug this off and go, well, he would need Congress. But he could do much of this with executive power alone: directing the FDA to revoke mifepristone approval, directing the DOJ to enforce the Comstock Act; a 14th amend recognition of fetal personhood; he’s got options.

I met System of a Down randomly because I was in a bookstore and they were doing a signing.
