My family were excluded from the organisations. My grandpa opposed the Nazis and was murdered. It's not often talked about, but until the 1980s if you had someone like that in the family you kept it secret. Because people who lived through the war considered you a traitor and treated you accordingly

Besides the point that "irreversible medical intervention" is a weaselly, dogshit framing, the takeaway from these things is always going to be that the people these articles are targeted to can only see themselves in the person who turned out not to be trans, and therefore only they matter
many ppl highlighting flaws in this article. but having fought in the "80% desistance" wars of the mid-2010s, I remember asking anti-trans activists if they'd be ok if 80% of youth were helped by gender-affirming care (flipping their argument). & they *never* answered. b/c they want *zero* trans ppl

I can't make it any clearer that these people want us eradicated. They're angry that there hasn't already been mass violence against us. They want a Kristallnacht where LGBTQ orgs, queer bars, and gender clinics are burned to the ground just like the Nazis they take inspiration from.
