Reminder - this guy first advocated for Christians to return to building small, dedicated communities of people adhering to Christian morality, then decided to spend abandon his wife and children and instead dedicate his live to serving a corrupt Hungarian dictator. An anti-example if I know one.

Looking at the reactions of Republicans, even the allegedly moderate ones like Don Bacon, they still think the Minnesota Murders is something that will just be forgotten and ICE will continue unimpeded. This party is just absolutely, fundamentally broken and rotten to the core.

So the US Ambassador to Poland throws a hissy fit over the Polish Speaker of the Parliament deciding not to endorse Trump's Peace Price candidature. Then, when PM Tusk rebukes him, he decides to double down and keep tweeting through it.

These people are disgustingly incompetent.

Better late than never, I guess.

"But what you cannot do is to detain first and then
sort out lawful authority later. Continued detention is not
lawful just because compliance with release orders is
administratively difficult or because an operation has
expanded beyond the Government's capacity to execute it
lawfully."

So the hyped up "bot social network" with "emerging social intelligence" actually ends up a gigantic security hole and data dump.

Who could've predicted...

Can't wait for all the American assholes who were defending the arrest of Don Lemon last week to wake up and start lecturing Europeans on how the raid on X's headquarters in Paris is an attack on free speech.

So, after a bit of downtime, VP Vance is back. To talk about the Epstein files? Some important policy measures?

No. To defend the extremely popular policy of *checks notes* putting 5-year olds in concentration camps:

Shocked. Absolutely shocked, I tell you.
I have spoken with several senior FBI counterintelligence officers who believe that there is a reasonably strong prospect that Tulsi Gabbard is a foreign intelligence asset.
As you read WSJ's piece on the super-secret abuse complaint about Tulsi Gabbard, remember that she tried unsuccessfully to wring counterintelligence function away from FBI last year.

Y'all know the saying how the pen's sharper than the sword, right? In case you still don't believe it, take a look at this murder scene.

Since there were no signals recently signaling any urgent moves toward Cuba, I'm wondering if the famous Vatican diplomacy got a hint that something's brewing and Leo decided to preempt it.

Creeping authoritarianism part God-knows-what: Mr Johnson here explicitly saying that preventing ICE from *unlawfully* entering any random private property on a whim (because that's what "administrative warrant" comes down to) is *unacceptable* to him.

In other words: police state must stay.
BASH: Wouldn't ICE wearing body cameras help with what you're describing?

RON JOHNSON: I don't have a problem with that personally, but that's not what I heard what Democrats were demanding. Their primary demand was judicial warrants, which is completely unacceptable.

This US stuff is really fascinating, but one has to sleep sometimes and it's 4AM here. So I'm going to end today on a little thought: I admit I did not have Epstein being the godfather of the alt-right (via 4chan/pol) on my bingo card. But it sure makes a lot of sense.

I've been lurking over at the Nazi site looking at vibes and honestly, this post just summarizes it so perfectly:

Looking at the Nazi CSAM site and the vibes there are Paul Graham of Y-combinator fame retweeting AoC on the Epstein Files.

Besides the invested MAGA grifters and the Epstein network people, there aren't exactly too many individuals trying to defend Trump.

Gratulacje @kpelczynska.bsky.social ! Trzymam kciuki za odbudowę porządnej centrowej partii, która się nie kłania lobbystom. Nie wątpię, że będzie ciężko, ale przynajmniej jest jakaś nadzieja.

It should be abundantly clear for anyone that hasn't caught on already that the alt-right's blueprint for a modern society is Dubai. The "rich get richer, faux conservative society, if you have money and power you can get away with anything, and best of all you can finally have *slaves* again".
Translated "it's fine if they're slaves or indentured servants"

Oh, so Pizzagate/Q wasn't a conspiracy theory.

It was the actual culprits preempting the discovery by saying "those other guys did it".

Good to know.

The US government currently is staging an adaptation of George Orwell's "The Animal Farm" and "1984" rolled into one, on a quite impressive budget, with very realistic special effects. If only the actors weren't so terrible...

Yet another reminder. *Religious freedom is a complete fiction when it comes to the US*. It is only there to protect the powerful who want to persecute *others* in the name of religion. Religious freedom didn't get incarcarated people access to the most important Sacrament - but what it *does*...

Who wants to bet that they arrested Don Lemon on a Friday so (a) there would be less news coverage over the weekend and (b) he wouldn't manage to get released before Monday, adding to the harassment?
January 30, 2026 at 2:36 PM
This is actually insane that he is arrested before any of the perpetrators in the Minneapolis shootings.
Trump DOJ arrested Don Lemon, per NYT.

Note: A magistrate judge rejected charges against him, and the district's Chief Judge found "no evidence" he committed a crime when reporting on a St. Paul church protest. buff.ly/OShK7vQ
