It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

the mythical centrists everyone wants are always vaguely described but seem to be a bloc of white, straight, middle class suburbanites who've been voting gop since eisenhower. if "cosigned by cheney and ready to fund the police" didn't win them, you're left with running a republican to win them.
