It's made with RabbleLabs & Nostr, A\I trainers. Have to go into Rabble's "And Other Stuff" link on their Projects page to get to the hidden A\I info. Links are on Divine's site. Also recall Dorsey was driven off Bsky for pushing Blockchain & wanting to make it an A\I/crypto/NFT haven. So yeah.
Oh yeah btw the reason why Vine is being relaunched with great fanfare and no Al is because it's jointly operated with an Al company and they probably don;t want to pollute their scrap pile with stuff they've already shat out.

can i say that discord aided in killing communities like this? there's no clubs anymore, no forums, nowhere really to properly 'discuss' or engage with things in third spaces outside of the limited options we have now. everything has been divided a million different ways, stuffed behind doors

I get why it happens but goddamn do I wish anything could hit as hard on the timeline as something that sucks that everyone hates written by or about the worst person you know. I wish something good or interesting was able to get anywhere near the traction some shit that sucks does.

I got snipped at the last time I went off on Trope Derangement Syndrome…but every time I see one of those graphics I get incredibly sad for my profession. Art is more than the sum of its TV Tropes tags! Our work is not “content!!” Let us not go gentle into that extremely online night!!!
I get why authors are compelled to do it, but few things make me want to read a book/story less than those tropelist pointing to the book marketing banners. I really wish they'd go away, but I guess they Do work as a marketing tactic on more people than they're off-putting to.

Yeah, this is a point that is increasingly lost under the mire of sludge. I feel for all the OG proc gen folk and the OG game AI programmers who now have to explain "No, not that kind of AI" every time..
A big reason proc gen feels so different to AI in spite of superficial similarities is exactly this!!
Proc Gen systems reflect the interests and creative preferences of the tool makers, whereas AI is catch-all sludge that reflects no specific point of view. It’s not remotely the same!

In case anyone ever asks, I *have* written a material generator and a music generator for Eldritch 2, but that's not AI. That's me taking all the things I personally know about those things, and writing my own tools to make the process a little faster and easier for myself. It's still 100% me, baby.

The absolute gall of this. Trans people have been loudly decrying the blatant institutionalized transphobia being pumped out of the BBC offices FOR YEARS, and some staff made up bullshit "memo" sends the entire organization crashing within a week because they aren't transphobic ENOUGH.
