Some excellent novellas to keep in mind for Hugo Noms! I felt very lucky to have Tachyon publish AUDITION FOR THE FOX as a novella, and it makes me so glad to know there are plenty of other publishers putting out shorter, fantastic work by fantastic folks! <3
Hugo Noms have opened and I want to get in quick with this: there is a fabulous and vibrant contemporary SFF novella scene and the quality is *not* disproportionately located at tordotcom, which puts out brilliant work but does not have a monopoly on it.

Probably time to update this, though a lot of the strategic career and creativity advice is still applicable. Most hilarious part was Publishers Weeky having to buy the booklife domain from me because they had launched their own booklife initiative without checking to see if the url was available.
