NANA is a huge part of why I care about complex storytelling and feminist media analysis. I think the author nails something about Shoujo/Josei specifically, but that also applies broadly to the big male anti hero shows (think Skyler hate on Breaking Bad). Nana and Hachi are both the best!

NANA is a huge part of why I care about complex storytelling and feminist media analysis. I think the author nails something about Shoujo/Josei specifically, but that also applies broadly to the big male anti hero shows (think Skyler hate on Breaking Bad). Nana and Hachi are both the best!

I am prepared to say the Democratic Party's response to this has been better than the national media's response, and I think the Dems are _doing a very poor job_.
Genuinely insane that a major newsroom isn't running a live post today trying to verify what is and what isn't being impacted by the federal funding freeze. Embarrassing how bad the media response is to this.
Based on the frantic questions I've googled recently — "how do executive orders works," "can gay marriage be repealed," "what is the Office of Personnel Management," "do food stamps still work," — only to find nothing from media outlets, I'm ready to say the mainstream media is in serious trouble.
