50 doctor who had visited Gaza were asked about children shot in the head. Most (35/50) had seen it themselves…

This is a fantastic read by @itsjoelvin.bsky.social that perfectly describes the rigmarole and absurdity of applying for and living up to ILR - and to note, this was well before things like “the hostile environment” and massive Increases in fees that came about in the early 2010s.
