We asked one for an estimate. When we said we wanted the tiles running diagonally in two adjoining rooms he said it would be impossible!! OH managed to do the job perfectly. Lots of money saved.

I am not convinced by professional tilers. They are expensive and not as good as OH, sometimes with a little help from me.

In my limited experience cats are exceedingly fussy. Medicating cats is a nightmare as the ones we had couldn’t be fooled.

You need to visit the Sainte Chapelle to really appreciate its beauty and delicacy. Photos are excellent but will never do it justice.

Disturbed nights are not good especially if you know you have to get up early. I love to see early Spring flowers, they are a welcome distraction.

I quite understand that. Better not to drive if you are worried, stressed and anything else. I was amazed last year when I couldn’t get an appointment near home in a reasonably-sized town. Earliest was 6 months away. Got one quickly, with a prescription, when there was a serious concern.

That happens! But do go even though it is not a pleasant experience in my opinion. Why are the nurses such battle axes?

True! I think you will find a sunken pool more fun. I used to swim quite long distances going back and forth - that wasn’t especially fun but good exercise. Counting the lengths was a little demanding. Family loved the pool.

Any hope that they may be found around Avignon or was it a very specialized shop? We have had truffle flavoured potato crisps which are rather too salty for my taste.
