Etel is the real deal. Here in Worcester she is under constant threats and personal attacks. She herself is a naturalized citizen after a harrowing journey as a refugee to come to Worcester. Yet here she is on the front lines I wish every elected was as unapologetically living their values like Etel

Etel is the real deal. Here in Worcester she is under constant threats and personal attacks. She herself is a naturalized citizen after a harrowing journey as a refugee to come to Worcester. The thing to remember is that while ICE has always been like this, ICE has not always been around. It is not even 25 years old. We don't need it. We never did.
My fear is that people will start to get numb to these stories and tune out, or say, “Well, ICE has always been like this, it must be fine.”
