There is truth to the idea that media outlets are drawn to negative, sensational news. Everyone writes about Florida eliminating vaccine mandates. Yet we have a letter signed by over 1,000 Florida physicians opposing this decision, and no outlet would published it. They don't even respond at all.

The 2025 Greater Vancouver Homeless Count identified 5,232 people experiencing homelessness. When people shelter in public spaces (because they have no where else to go) they can be caught up in a street sweep. This increases their risk of violence and overdose.

Well, Poilievre didn't remove Aaron Gunn from running in the North Island-Powell River riding, despite his residential school genocide denialism, gender pay gap denialism and other far-rightery. That guy will have designs on CPC leadership so it was a dumb move in many different ways #cdnpoli
This is the last day to remove a candidate for the election - after that, they appear on the ballot. Poilievre has 'til the end of the day to remove Aaron Gunn.

"Friendly"? I don't think so.

This is so disingenuous. If a sitting MLA can make this kind of “mistake” I think her competency is seriously in question. But even more shocking is the fact that Brennan Day claims not to have agreed to have his name on this letter. #dropthegunn
Kindy's surprise!

Shocker! Someone who hangs around far-right figures and doesn't know how to do her job supports Aaron Gunn.

Courtenay-Comox MLA Brennan Day walks back his name on a letter that supported Aaron Gunn and denied that anything he said was racist or wrong. Hmm... you'd think you wouldn't wait days if someone signed your name without you knowing.

Israel executes 15 medics, and it doesn't even ruffle the surface of our election conversation? Shame.

Canadian-made arms reach Israel via the USA, despite Liberal promises to halt that.

Enough is enough. We need a real arms embargo.

End Canada's complicity in genocide.

One thing I always remember about Aaron Gunn is how he needed a police escort to make a documentary in the DTES.

I’m a small middle aged woman who’s covered many DTES issues, gone inside SROs and homeless encampments - and I certainly didn’t need police to help get the story 🙄
