You can be in your 30s and have had every election you've voted in go against the majority of your demographic until 2024, and then find when the government finally changes the policies that directly effect your life don't change.
Calling Gen Zs "obviously fucking morons" for turning away from a democracy that palpably cares nothing for them may excite the Observer's seniors with its outré tone but it is the polar opposite of what we should do if we are worried about declining support for democracy amongst Gen Zs.
