We've done a New Years lucky lemon pig faithfully every year since 2016. This year we reflected on 2016-2024 and thought... what if the lemon pig is not lucky at all, but may be, in fact, quite cursed? So, no lemon pig for 2025 in this household.

As I bask in the glow of the end-of-year reception, I can't help reflect on all the times I stopped myself from writing like this. That I believed I had to hide *precisely* the sorts of things that have spoken to so many people. This is more than I ever imagined.

I kinda don't personally like being like "did YOU remember to add alt text today?!" to people,
But adding alt text really does become swift and easy when you get used to it.
I go for the most contextually important and visually interesting parts of the image.
Makes images more searchable too.

I don't know why but I am constantly surprised that as a full grown adult you can just do adult stuff and not have to wait for people to give you permission. And since no one has tried to talk me out of it I am going to make Canadian author starter packs. (Mainly for SF/F & Horror writers)
