The problem with the teenage witch in the alps tweet is that it's needlessly reductive about Disco Elysium and THAT'S what makes its hypothetical game feel super generic & cringe. You could absolutely make a game with a tonally different protagonist and setting that used similar writing and systems!

Trying to figure out what the best guidelines are for something like this.
— 100% newbie friendly (e.g. doesn’t just use terms like d6 w no explanation)
— Keep external components simple, compact & recognizable as possible (no block towers,‘unusual’ dice)
I think those are the big ones.

One of the things I think about constantly is that we haven't been able to learn the language of any other species on earth. It seems pretty clear the whales are saying something, as are the parrots and corvids. And it's not like people aren't trying, but it eludes us.

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.
