I’m not quite sure how to articulate this, but - I was talking to my therapist about *not actually hating things*. I pass for what the internet might call “a hater”, but I didn’t even hate the person who assaulted me. Didn’t hate my parents. Didn’t hate the person who stalked me.

I had to go find and read this article, because the premise seemed like a fundamental misunderstanding of how LLMs work. as it turns out, the title is somewhat misleading but since this guy is an editor I don’t think he can blame his editor on this one

I should disclose: I don’t hate AI. Do I feel threatened by it? Not in the same way many of my peers do, sure. It is neither capable of, nor interested in, writing or drawing the way I do. If LLMs are a probability engine made of chopped up people-tendencies, what I do just isn’t popular enough.

review of gym-based bouldering: if you are able-bodied, try it out. even if u got a little of that autoimmune flare business u kno what I’m sayin. unless it’s one of the real bad ones. intro is a brain and body puzzle, less about strength then “how do I get over there with my short-ass self?” 7.5/10
