Hulk Hogan truly was the real America: an icon you were dutifully instructed to adore as a child and then every single piece of information about what he was, what he did, and what he thought about things made you hate him more and more, and in a way, yourself for falling for it.

This is why self-described MAGA "conservatives" often feel uncomfortable in modern academia. Because amongst humanists and social scientists, the idea that race is a biological reality has generally been considered discredited nonsense longer than any currently living American has been alive.

Hmmmm, famously American beer Coors is Canadian says BCL?

This is, of course, because Molson-Coors is a Canadian/US brand. But before you crack that Molson-Coors beer, let me ask:

Who founded The Heritage Foundation, authors of Project 2025, Trump's playbook?

Yeah, it was Coors.

This is the correct response to all popular music, beginning the day you turn forty. I too hope the young people had, and will continue to have fun.
my rural local news put up a post asking what people thought of the halftime show and this little old white lady commented “I didn’t get it but I’m old. I hope the young people had fun. I liked his pants and his jacket. 💕”

After watching researchers try to recover bodies from the 1918 flu in the Arctic, I went back to school to study the social history of epidemics. I couldn't understand why 1918 sparked no major memorials, no novels, no plays. How could societies collectively agree to forget mass death?

Welp.

Just put Quinn Hughes name on the Hart right now. This team is Jim Benning levels of ass without Hughes generating a couple goals every night. AHL caliber w/out him. Getting embarrassed by bottom feeders like SEA & NSH in the last week alone. They are not a serious team and that's on Allvin and JR.

Most people who clamor about education reform at a national scale have an underlying economic concern (aka they want to sell you sh*t like charter schools or canned curriculum). Education is hard, messy, and takes considerable time, money, and effort. Don't fall for the allure of crisis discourses!
Some terminal Ted Talk Brain in the NYT today:
If it's true that millions of young people is not prepared for the workforce, we're probably going to need a more meaningful solution than teachers slightly changing the phrasing of their classroom instruction.

Civility is *good*. Compromise is *good*.

But like anything else, they're only good if deployed appropriately. Being civil to Nick Fuentes is bad. Compromise with David Duke is bad.

More time needs to be spent defining their appropriate parameters and recipients
