My grandmother neglected to tell me about this after she visited Iceland back in the 80s. (I mean, she told me all about the prostitutes in Amsterdam, so why not this?)

I may have a new life goal.
I’ve been to the penis museum in Iceland and have a strong anti-endorsement. way too many penises

As the Canadian ex-bf of a man who lived in Atlanta during our relationship, who furthermore finds the "my gf/bf lives in Canada" trope extremely annoying, I have to admit that this was funny.

I can hardly wait for Fox News to learn that Superman has a bisexual son in the most recent comics & TV series. Then the kryptonite will *really* hit the fan.

Definitely "Spaceballs" for me. The essential Mel Brooks movie is "Blazing Saddles", with "Young Frankenstein" a close second.

Though in today's political climate, I would recommend that people watch "To Be Or Not To Be". It's less well known, but I can't think of a more *important* Brooks film.
Which makes you feel the oldest:
a) people who think of 'Kokomo' as the essential Beach Boys song
b) people who think of 'Spaceballs' as the essential Mel Brooks movie

I was working for a financial company at Bloor and Church, and went for lunch at a Druxy's deli in Cumberland Terrace. After finishing my meal, I walked out into the mall and ran smack into Randy Harrison, who at the time was playing Justin on Queer As Folk.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

All I've had published are a few pieces in the Outside In books totalling about 15-20 pages. I've sweated blood over every word. And "authors" are making money off generating AI sludge and not even bothering to proofread it?

If you didn't write it, I have no interest in reading it.
So that now makes Lena McDonald, KC Crowne and Rania Faris leaving ChatGPT prompts in their ‘books’.

I’m so fucking tired, guys. If you don’t write, you’re not a writer. It’s that simple. Stop doing this to your readers, who PAY.

Readers and authors deserve better than this. 📚💙

How tf are people supposed to apply for jobs, if Internet access is deemed an "extravagance"? I don't think Internet cafés are still a thing (there used to be an Internet café near here, but it closed a decade ago), and I'm sure small towns didn't have them, anyway. Libraries aren't 24h operations.
next section is about punishing poor people for living too extravagantly - which republicans define as, and i'm not making this up, having internet access.

internet costs are no longer allowed to be used in computing the excess shelter expense deduction to determine benefit levels.
