I can't speak to the premise of the OP, though, as I did have a rooting interest - the Tigers. Skubal can only beat the Jays once or twice over the course of a series, and I wasn't worried about the Tigers' batters. Raleigh/Suarez/Naylor can beat them four times.

Yup. I just shared a video showing Parks officers who have been dragooned into patrolling DC, demanding ID from a couple of men who are just sitting out on their steps having a drink and then lecturing them. (No bonus points for guessing the race of the officer and his targets.)

He's not kicking anything with those toothpick legs. He'd lift one leg and a gentle breeze would blow him over.

Those circular mints sound familiar... did they have a chocolatey flavour?

I think Bulk Barn carries Scotch mints. At least, the last time I remember seeing them, that's where they were.

A few months later I also ran into Robert Gant (who played Ben on QAF) in the same area. He was on his way into a condo building with a bag of groceries, so I assume that's where he lived while he was here.

I honestly think that the people who hate him do so because he still has all his teeth. To them, that means he's not a "real" hockey player.
