Alisson is such an idiot. He booted the ball to nobody and then went steaming into Matheus Nunes - again - for no reason. Head absolutely went.

Arsenal have Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston, and Anne Hathaway.

That's game over. Your club can't hope to match that.

Arsenal, the scourge of football, with just the three open play goals against the joint-third best defense in the Premier League.

Super professional performance, real impact from the subs off the bench - and it was needed. Gyokeres and Martinelli offered a lot more than Jesus and Madueke. Eze good too when he came on,.

Thought Trossard was superb today, Rice and Zubi such a great pairing, and a big win makes the gap 9 points!

It’s not just the goals and assists (8 in his last 8 games), though he did need to start racking them up, Gyokeres has just generally been better lately.

"Racist Trump video criticised by Democrats"

It's not that hard to more accurately share a story. So much bad journalism is just using passive, weak wording so as to not be seen taking 'a side'. Some things are just racist and should be called racist.
A video shared by President Trump on social media depicting Barack and Michelle Obama as monkeys has been condemned as racist by prominent Democrats

So: Man City have to travel two hours down to Wembley, the referees don’t want them to win, they have too many injuries and now the rules (despite being very clear) don’t suit them - anything else?

With pundits you are damned either way. If you are conventionally entertaining (but fatally flawed) you don’t have what it takes, are maligned for naïveté. If you are incredible at many things but at the expense of drama you are “ruining the game” and boring those who demand superficial pleasure.

That was a truly horrible game of football made hilarious by the late Havertz goal.

Sky waxing lyrical over Chelsea and Rosenior playing the long game when they just wasted at least an hour of a game when they were a goal down and had to score.

Tactical disasterclass imo.

Arsenal go to Wembley!

An interesting graph: we face by far the deepest defensive low blocks of any team in the league (look at how much space opponents give Man City - tossers). We also play with the highest defensive line.

Arsenal were very entertaining for a generation, won nothing, and were mocked by the fans of every other club in the country.

Arsenal were told not to be precious and insist there was a 'right' way to play. That defensive football was valid and Arsenal were arrogant and naive to act differently.

The Arsenal-Leeds matches are case-in-point examples of why Premier League teams don't try to play open, expensive, pressuring football against Arsenal.

They get hammered when they do.
Amazing how many of the reflections on Arsenal's (very good) season start with the assumption that Mikel Arteta has chosen for his team to be this way in the Premier League. Why then are they so different in Europe?

The league is too good right now for even the best team to dictate terms.
