Went to the GGWP (Great Games With Pals) convention last weekend. Came away with far too many artworks and stickers as usual! 😅 It was a fun event though, and I love chatting with artists about their work

There's a lot of conversations about toilets and women's safety going on, but most of these conversations focus on general principles rather than specific figures. There's never really a sense of the scope of the problem, if any.

The current state of "journalism" in this country is so frustrating.
This is the Stuff politics section. Check the story in the bottom right corner then EVERYTHING else, then tell me this isn't an UTTERLY confected beat up

Not sure I've ever seen an example so stark

Seems like a journalist should contact DCM and the Sallies and ask if they have indeed seen police throwing away the belongings of homeless people, and if so, to confront the Prime Minister about it.

The job is to look outside and see if it's actually raining, etc etc

"if we can't train AI on copyrighted works, then it'll never get to the point where we can make tons of money off of it" ok? how is that anyone else's problem? If I can't rob a bank, then I won't have $20 million tomorrow. Should I be allowed to rob a bank then?

Came across a lighter that belonged to my late grandmother. Fortunately I had flint a lighter fluid from an earlier (failed) attempt to repair a similar lighter. Very excited to have gotten it working again.

My sibling, explaining how xir uni degree works: there's a set of papers I have to do, and then some slots where I can choose, and I can pick papers that aren't related to my Bachelor's.

Me, who did one film course at polytech: so it's like D&D multiclassing?

Sibling: ...yes.

I am once again begging you to understand that a man can be good at art AND a monster. Pretending once the truth comes out that the art was never actually that good only shelters the next monster.
