Apparently I pissed off Curtis.

Ironically the embodiment of just what I was talking about. A billionaire's pet and dumbass who rose through the conservative ecosystem by flattering the rich and powerful that the biggest problem with the country is they weren't rich and powerful enough

I'm starting to wonder how much "the male loneliness epidemic" is just straight and bisexual women identifying low-effort, mean, and incompetent men and choosing not to date, marry, and tolerate them anymore

If you call it a “male immaturity epidemic,” a very different set of phenomena come into focus, as this thread shows

Oh wow, I just listened to this and @micahloewinger.bsky.social's interview of Cam Higby (MAGA TikTok influencer with a Pentagon press pass) is fascinating. Especially the hilarious part where Cam thinks people listening to it will think Micah comes off poorly.
The show is up and it’s SPICY! Ft. @danlamothe.bsky.social on leaving the pentagon, @annamerlan.bsky.social on the new pentagon press corps and Laura Poitras on her new movie “Cover Up.” Oh and pod bonus @micahloewinger.bsky.social spoke with Cam Higby about his new role. pca.st/episode/f23f...

There has been no debate here among constitutional scholars, historians, political scientists, anyone with a pulse really.

Any telling you that this very straightforward point, one that has been universally accepted for a century and a half, is now an "abstruse" issue is just a liar and a hack.
Anyone who knows this history should know there’s no contested issue.

I’d like to talk with you or them about that experience for my research

Thanks!

Odd how the MAHA political cult never actually talks about healthy diets.

Maybe because an understanding dietary health involves, you know, science.

We restored the zip ties on baby Jesus. The #Christmas story is literally about an authoritarian ruler using violence, causing fear, and eventually driving the holy family to become refugees in Egypt. The parallels couldn't be more clear between scripture and our nativity. We're not going anywhere.

The Roberts Six have thoroughly politicized the Court and turned it into a reliable arm of the RNC.

Democrats should have no reservations about calling them out for it, demanding resignations from these bought-off hacks and running on a promise to enact sweeping reforms.

In Chicago, a Nativity scene features a zip-tied baby Jesus and Roman centurions in "ICE" vests.

Near Boston, Mary, Joseph, and Jesus are absent from a Nativity scene, replaced with a sign reading "ICE was here."

It's all part of growing religious blowback to ICE. religionnews.com/2025/12/05/i...

(RNS) — 'We know that Jesus was born into a Roman imperial occupation, and pretty much immediately becomes a refugee in Egypt, has to flee and faces political violence,' the Rev. Michael Woolf said.

But why should Dem voters trust any Dem pol who claims the mantle, "uniquely suited to win over Trump voters"?
X-Trump voters, ok, but not Trump voters.

Be a politician with a vision and a genuine message, not a politician reeking of strike-force cynicism.
