I've mentioned this before but it bears repeating. Don't leave FSA funds on the table at the end of the year. LOTS of places like homeless shelters etc... would love donations of FSA eligible items. For the past 2 years, I've used left over funds to shop here: fsastore.com - then donate the items.
The FSA Store - Browse and Buy over 2,500+ Flexible Spending Account Eligible Items Online
The FSA Store carries over 2,500+ guaranteed FSA-eligible products, health essentials, and more.

It's October 2025, six months from the beginning of the dismantling of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). What's going on in the agency right now?

A lot of disappearing money and an imminent court decision, among other things.

Grant money that should be going to library projects is going to state-sponsored propaganda, among other IMLS updates.

Reminder that September is National library card month, so you should totally go get a library card! Yes, they have books, but many also have dvds, cds, video games, game systems, hot spots, streaming services, ebooks, audio books, park passes, museum passes, and more! Maybe it's time for a visit!

Loneliness, Carl Jung said, "has little to do with having no people around you but being unable to communicate the things that seem important to you. Loneliness is not about empty rooms or loss but about carrying words you don't say, or feel safe to share." Mindful healing: speak what matters.

It's funny that midlife crises were once a thing at all. Like "oh he's disillusioned with the world and unsure what he wants out of life and buying things he doesn't need just to feel an ounce of joy because the things he was promised as a child don’t really exist anymore” like that is just Thursday

there are few worse/lazy headline constructions than “tensions flare as ____” because it answers zero questions.

who’s tense? who’s making them flare? what’s the difference between each side’s ways of expressing their tension? who has more power in the situation?
