Friends, I'm returning to share new work and continue building communities in 2026. Here's a new poem for the new year. Sending love to you all.
Lazarus   I know what death is, and it isn't death. I know because I went to it and stumbled back. I know because it led me through the moonlight, cradling the black lamb of my startled heart. I know because my body was my grave.   But now I sit alone when the crowd has left, and I see my hands, the bread in them, the trembling. And you there, drifter in your midnight, what would you do, tell me what you’d do— in the silence, in the briars of your darkest night— if a stranger came and knelt with you, in ruins, and whispered, simply, Look at me, just look at me.
