i little one who went to heaven a couple weeks ago was a chi. they are a bit nervous...but sweet...at least mine were..these two lived on the foster mom's farm with 9 other dogs and goats, etc. so this is a very different enviroment

I've had quite a few rescues, they'll eat when they're hungry. Chihuahuas tend to be nervous and new surroundings are scary. I rescued a Chow a few years back and he wouldn't come in house for about week because I think he had kennel stress. He turned out to be a big affectionate baby.
