When my mom was terminally ill, she became a medical-assistance-in-dying single-issue voter & advocate. She ended up declining so abruptly that it wasn’t necessary, but had she spent more than about a week in that level of pain, I would have been willing and able to break the law for her.
if you think that terminally ill people being able to opt for medical euthanasia sounds horrifying it is because you have not seen the types of natural deaths that people die
this law is not, in fact, secretly about eugenics or our lack of a social safety net
