Remaining politically unbiased requires staying neutral on matters like evidence, relevant past behavior, clear patterns, obvious lies, and observable truth, which is worth remembering whenever somebody starts complaining about political bias.

A reminder that people in Gaza need real help, and while you ought to do your due diligence, please don't block/report people calling out for survival, ok?

I'd personally rather risk being scammed out of $5 than cut off a person's access to the world, but that's just me

Sending love to you, Alma 🫶🏻

Just thinking how my life now hangs in the balance of people wanting to throw mine and millions of others away to celebrate the day of a massacre of a nation of other Indigenous people.

But it’s so important that this group of so-called representatives get to travel and feast with their families.
Just imagining the meeting where they must have been like “they might cancel my flight? Time to kill the sick.”

A new report finds that only 3% of international aid is going to support communities and workers transitioning into a green economy. The lack of funding “risks deepening inequality rather than addressing it,” warn the authors.

SCOOP: Schumer was more involved than reported with the attempted cave on the government shutdown. The Gang of 8 Senate Dems had his approval & he was getting daily updates.
In Thursday's caucus meeting, the Gang claimed they had 10 votes to cave. The caucus went nuts, leading to the new proposal.

UNTIL IT’S DONE, Ep. 4: Sylvia Rivera

In the 1970s, queer New Yorkers had been pushed to the margins of NYC. Our trans neighbors faced immense cruelty. But in Sylvia Rivera, they found a champion.

As we combat Trump’s politics of darkness, her legacy can light the path forward.
